I’m Sarah — a wedding photographer based in mid Devon, working across the South West and further afield when the light is worth chasing.

My work sits somewhere between documentary and fine art. I photograph the way light moves through a room, the moments before a moment, the quiet held hands during the speeches. The big things matter — but it’s almost always the small ones that you’ll come back to, years from now.

I keep my schedule deliberately small — around fifteen weddings a year — so I can put real care into each one. Before the day I want to know who you are, what you’re nervous about, where the light will fall at six o’clock. On the day, I work calmly and quietly. I won’t herd your guests. I won’t pose you for hours. The best photographs find themselves.

Afterwards, I take my time with the edit. Devon is a quiet, warm place — the colours of moor and firelight, of late summer evenings — and I try to keep that feeling in every frame. You’ll receive your gallery within six to eight weeks, alongside a small heirloom album if you’d like one.
